DS scope

Any one tried the new Swarovski DS

Apparently the low light performance is better but don’t know anyone that can confirm this

Just got mine on Friday from Cluny Country Store. Shout out to them for a smooth transaction!!

Spent the day yesterday mounting it on my 7mm08 & zeroed it up at my mates range.
Easy enough to imput the data & ballistic & passed the range test hitting a gong at 480m on the 2nd try. First try was a bad windage call by me
Optical quality is excellent in daylight even at 24x

Planning some foxing later so I'll bring the z8i with me too & make comparisons.

Took it out last night. Was actually impressed.
I could've taken a show comfortably up to legal shooting time (1 hour after sundown)

Yes there was a full moon but it was cloudy & some drizzle.

In comparison to the z8i on equal zoom yes the z8 was better but only marginally
I expected the ds gen 3 to be way worse but it wasn't...
Might be a z8i up for sale soon...
