On inspection the barrel looks in very good condition. I think it has lived it's life in a gun safe awaiting an adventure somewhere....but the adventure never happened.
The pictures of the rifle are as I bought it dusty and oiled. The magazine release catch is sticky with oil.
The 'older gentleman' I bought it from said he purchased it for stalking trips in Scotland, the original boxes of ammunition had 14 rounds used, which I'm surmising is all it has shot.
