Benelli Lupo Alpha .308

I had a Lupo in .243 and loved it, only sold it as was no longer required, not long ago I replaced my Bergara B14 Crest with a Lupo Wood in .308

Good rifles, accurate, adjustable and excellent warranty. The only downside if you can call it that, is that you buy a Lupo and it stays exactly as that, no aftermarket chassis and triggers etc.

That being said, can't see why you would need to.

Imho, a very good value rifle

@Edinburgh Rifles had a 308 Alpha at their last range day.

Sure Ed would be able to give some feedback (and maybe cut a deal if it's a "demo" gun 😂)

They certainly look pretty interesting. Part of me can't help but wonder how much crap all the cutouts will attract... but equally the gaps feel quite large, so can't be that troublesome to clean?

Apologies, just realized you were specifically asking about the Alpha. I didn't fire one, but did compare one for best part of an hour in terms of fit and weight against the Wood. Get hands on with one, see what you think of the material and whether you like the way it feels etc. For me it was a tough choice but the Wood won out.

Yes
We have an alpha
I Love it
In two minds whether to keep it
Its light, pointy, very nice trigger

We shot 180gr federal out of it with and without the brake for a recoil test
Boringly smooth and its weight does not mean it’s nasty to shoot

Its had 20 rounds through it but its been stripped and cleaned
Definitely deal to be done if interested

Would make an awesome hill or walkabout gun with a nice light scope and accessories
