Triggering is the key to a good tail camera - if it doesn't trigger it isn't worth having. What you don't know is how many you are missing out on completely as they just walk past and never trigger the camera. In my view image quality doesn't matter so much as you now know the deer is there and it's not like you are looking for a photo for the family album.
I have some 'good" cameras that take pretty good photos but both are out of action.These Chinese knockoffs are not even Aldi cam quality,which incidentally can take a fair photo.
