Afternoon rough shooting

Went for a walk around a small farm for a bit of game.
Had a row with the tennent farmer then we were on our way.
First was a small piece of rough. Last year we shot 2 foxes . This year we shot 2! Then 2 more came out my dad rolled one over that made it to some cover. The last 1 came out my dad rolled it twice! I then rolled it twice. I was about 60 yards from it. Had to try! The Fox made it across to a garden.
I couldn't believe they were there!
Next we went to a small wood and a couple of hedges. 1 rabbit bagged.
We ended up by a river where we bagged 1 duck and 3 pheasants.
Not a big bag but for 3 of us it was good fun.
You had a row with the farmer and he still let you shoot on his land? unusual thing to do to say the least.

Sounds to me like a right rag-tag outing.... Probably shooting foxes with No6 shot and duck with same. Enjoy that farm as long as you can?

5 32g for fox.
Steel for duck. It's the law.
Been shooting there a long time. It's a family friend.
