I would like to take the opportunity to tell you all myself that I have decided to leave the SD site and to move on to pastures new.
Before doing so I would like to thank the many friends that I have made on this site, you really are top people and it has been my great privilege...
Unfortunately I find myself with increasing health problems which means that I won't be able to go to the CLA fair this year. I had intended to bring the T-shirts along and pass them on to their owners. Can anyone help me out here; I need someone to post out the T-shirts’ to members...
I am recieving a fair number of emails and PM's from site members concerning the SD T'shirts, all asking me when will they be sent out.
I have not yet recieved the T'shirts but when I do I shall inform you via the site. For those of you not attending the CLA Game fair I will...
Thanks for the pm's about the potential Troll. Its only fair to let him explain himself before we let loose the dogs of war, so please be patient. One wrong move on his part and you are welcome to show him what we think of trolls on this site.
Please don't bait him just yet, lets...
I was just been reading on an Anti's website that they are asking ramblers and people out and about in the countryside to complain about shooters on private land or near public footpaths.
We are apparently harassing the good public with our rifles and shotguns and causing a risk to...
I was only thinking this evening that we could do with getting rid of the 'News' section off the site because it’s a complete pain in the ass searching for stories that you will all most likely read in the shooting mags anyway.
So how about we have a 'News Hounds' section and all the...
Have you ever heard a song and thought yeah that's what its all about! Why not share them with everyone. :-D
Here's mine: -
'I don't want no boiled chicken, I wanna go hunting and fishing!
Go wild go wild in the country, we're snakes in the grass we're absolutely free.....'...
I was recently asked about a post I made a few months ago concerning letters to land owners for deer stalking permission. I have deleted the pm and forgot who asked me the question. I'm sorry whoever it was, I'm getting old a feeble minded. Is this the thread you were looking for...
I have just been on the CentrefireUK site and came across a thread that informed CentrefireUK members of our site and a link to find us with. T3 Admin the site Administrator also added and I quote: -
'If deer stalking is your thing, these guys are "Monarch of the Glen".
Very Good site...
A few weeks ago a couple of SD members informed me that both Rob Mac and I were getting a real 'verbal kicking' on another hunting website. To say that I felt hurt by the comments would be an understatement. However this site has reached out to other sites, 'Shooting Community', 'UK...
I'm looking at getting my first deer dog this year and I would really like to know how to start training it from day one. It will be a house dog rather than a kennel dog, but I will be getting a large cage for it to sleep in.
I am hoping that one of you fine people could write an...
This is part of a Deer Management Plan that I have set out for an Environmental Conservation Trust. I've posted it as I think it may be of help to anyone involved in Muntjac Deer management. Sorry it is very long!
REASONS FOR ACTIVELY MANAGING MUNTJAC DEER
MUNTJAC FROM THE BEGINING...
I have been speaking to a number of SD site members about the possibility of adding a chat room to this site. It's a good idea I think, it will take most of the banter away from the threads and the members who do wish to chat can do so more freely in a relaxed atmosphere.
I am thinking of putting some money to one side and planing a 'Once in a life time' stalk for Siberian Roebuck. Has anyone any experience of Russian Roe or this outfitter?
Many thanks. ;)
I for one have a lot of problems posting photos on the site via photo bucket. Would one of you kind people please post a idiots guide to Photo bucket and how to post pictures on the site for those less cleverererer..er than yourselves.
In fact is anyone up to writing an article...
