    Training Courses "Up North"

I've read a few threads on here about the lack of training courses Up North by the likes of BASC and BDS. I have been to a few, but do agree there aren't many. More often than not the excuse given by the providers is lack of interest/numbers.

Just a thought but between the people on here surely we could get the numbers, the carcasses and the venue and then do a sort of SD training day??? What's peoples thoughts or am I wasting my time?

I don't know but BDS or BASC may even send up a trainer for the day so long as the rest was sorted.

General consensus seems to be, no one is interested in doing courses so no one is interested in organising courses

Like Wayne I've only just seen this, and I'm also peeved that not a lot from the big organisations goes on upt norf but with regards to courses run by basc and the like, their prices just seem to be a little steep for what's on offer.
Eg.. compare the prices of the basc or ngo dogs for deer days to the free courses to be run by UKSHA.
    Regards
    Jimmy
Next time you're walking down the street and see a homeless person go buy them a sandwich and a coffee, change of fate and it could be you one day !!!

    Not deer related

BASC is running a 'Shooting for the Future' training course at Ripley Castle on the 8th and 9th May. This course is designed to improve your shotgun shooting skills and improve your shoot management. The course is jointly run by BASC and the GWCT. Further details can be found hear http://basc.org.uk/events/shooting-for-the-future-3/
