Which ir is best with Photon

I've decided to buy a Yukon photon..so please no advice on bigger better more expensive kit.

I'm looking at possibly the night master 400,it seems compact and up to the job of shooting at max 100 yards. I looked at the 800 but it seems ott in size and distance.

Just wondering what others have found and if there are other alternatives ?.
    Thanks

ps.. It'll be going on a .22 rimfire till I get used to it and clear up some rabbits then it'll be going on a.223 for foxes.

I don't think you have to lash out the big money for a Nightmaster. A T20 should be perfectly sufficient for the job. I would however recommend buying Sony or Panasonic 18650 batteries separately.
    look at http://www.ludicrous-lumens.co.uk

I have the NM x searcher which would be an over kill for your needs, I have a new T50 with green LED, which identify out past 200 yards and eye shine wat beyond that. The torch is new with rat tail switch and two batteries, pm me if interested

    Just had a look.
I'm trying to keep the profile down and that on has a pretty big lens.
Great if you want the distance but I won't be shooting more than about 100 yards, not a good idea on my permission.
    Thanks anyway.

I got a T38 IR off Marky610 (Nite Tek) on the nv forum. About 40 quid and I can't see that you'd need anything more. Well designed, well engineered and good quality. However with any 18650 torch it's definitely worth getting good branded batteries as has been said.

Thanks guys, think I have just saved a load of money.
The t20 is a lot cheaper than the night master.
