is any using the Barnes ttsx in 130 .308

Just wondering what they perform like and is the a massive amount of meat damage .2 who stocks them in Suffolk

I've used them in .308, 6.5 and currently in 7mm and .243 wouldn't use anything else, no excessive meat damage and unlike some who've used them instant stopping power.

130g 308 TTSX works great, majority of roe drop on the spot in my experience and very little meat damage.

They did not have any on the shelf on Monday. Are they holding some for you? I have put them on back order.

They did have four boxes of the 110gr, well three after we left I thought I would try those.

I use the 130 grain TTSX in my Sako 308 - a 96% of max load of Varget results in 2950 ft/s velocity, no pressure signs & good accuracy. I crimp the bullets onto the land below the first canelure (not into the groove!) using a Lee Factory Crimp die.
I get no more meat damage than with any other bullet that doesn't fragment & mine tend to pass straight through all smaller deer expanding nicely en route.

I think you'll find that James (Jager SA) is about to stock Barnes bullets which will be ideal! Hopefully cheaper than another local supplier who has just quoted my mate 75 for a box of 50!!!
