    Larder weights

I have been culling deer in two young forestry schemes of late. The deer are (generally) marauders and in a poor state. The larder weights for the mature Reds fall between 31-46kg.These larder weights are around 25-30% down on normal and given such low weights I reckon that the impending bad weather will finish off a fair few animals in short order.

I am wondering what the rest of you are noticing on your ground?

I have found the weights of young Roe to have fallen dramatically although the adults seem to have copped better with the harsh weather, i have also found a good few young Roe dead.
