    BASC Election Opinion on Shooting

Not sure if this is the correct spot or if anyone has posted this before, but it is good to get the views of your MPs. I got a reply from mine in the same day and although he isn't a shooter, he did understand the role and value of shooting and was overall supportive. Pity he wasn't the one I'd be voting for!!

The link takes you straight to the BASC page and all you need to do is put your post code in and then tick which MP you want to send the pre-drafted letter to.

    Simples!

I've tried my MP and candidates a couple of times, but none of them ever answer...

Well quite honestly, it's not really a mainstream concern in Ealing Central and Acton. Here it's more about the fact that they have or are closing all our A&E departments so you had better not need any medical attention in a hurry. I mean it's only me, Scrummy, Toxster, Foss and Geoshot who give a damn about this issue. No gunshops, no shooting industry or any kind to speak of.

My constituency MP (Ealing North) is Stephen Pound and he is listed as "supportive" on the BASC linked site.
That surprised me cos he's a bit left of centre even for a Labour MP.
He is also very supportive of CAMRA, which didn't surprise me given his Irish connections
I thought I could see light at the end of the tunnel, but it was only some fecker with a torch bringing me more work
