    He's a nice study buck.
How many years photos do you have of him?
“Man surprised me most about humanity. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.”........Dalai Lama

Really just from last year and this year. It's not ground I have rights to stalk on so I have to grab the photos when I can, as I'm not sure how long he'll be around.

Yes, unfortunately the best shot I got of him standing broadside on he had moved into the shade:

At that time of the morning the light is critical.

If I'd had time I could have tried upping the ISO but the pair of them were making steady progress across the field....steady, that is, until my youngest lab showed an interest. Once they saw him move they caught sight of the other three dogs and were gone!

He looks quite young Dom and I have noticed the lack of real gorget patches that we get up here. Still nice pictures I will look for a buck from here that would be similar age.

Yes, his back-end is quite angular and he doesn't have much of a belly to him....
