    First signs of spring...

Sun has a bit of warmth at last.
Mist about on early morning stalks

And the French air traffic controllers are going on strike

The weather is glorious here, I booked the week of work. Got my spuds planted yesterday. Cows are all calved with one loss only. We put the bull in with the suckler cows yesterday morning - he's been a busy boy....Animal porn according to my 11 year old daughter.

All the young stock are out on grass this morning.

I am a happy culshie today.

    First signs??

Maybe it's only just reached the frozen North, but we're well beyond the first signs of Spring down here. In fact I'd say we're almost into the first signs of summer

Beautiful mornings and super sunrises....an absolute pleasure to be out and about.

Roll on next month, from when being out early means seeing no-one else for the first few hours of the day.

Thank you. There was a roe doe there this morning, so I watched her walking and grazing along the side of the hedge. Lovely to see.

Lovely day here but would not call it spring not much sign of any new growth yet and quite a frost this morning took a while to defrost the car.

Still quite a bit of snow on the hill, and three mornings last week awoke to a pure white landscape
so yes spring is on its way but it's not here yet.

Sort of an Irish Farmer / Red neck / Yokel type. A derogatory term for us by townies, but we don't care what they think....

    Thanks.
We have friends in Belfast, we're still building up a vocabulary.
Always have a good time there and always put on a few pounds on a visit
