    Thank you Finnbear we are indeed very fortunate to have so many species to look at just through the kitchen window. This little troupe were with us every day throughout the winter. Costs a fortune to keep the feeders topped up but worth every penny.

    I have a 2am ginger barsteward visiting our garden and bird feeder
    also drives the dog nuts!

    wouldn't sit still long enough for me to ...er...introduce myself.....

    Long-tailed tits. A beautiful little bird. Same as you, we have a regular group that visit, and fill the air with their song. Fantastic to see and hear.

    Yes, it's all perking up around us in the Midlands, too. After the crows had been 'encouraged' to stop raiding the bird feeder all is back to normal.
