    Re-gas needed suffolk

Just put my chiller on and it's not cooling down......

the fan is working so my only guess is that it needs gas. It's a single door drinks chiller, and it worked just fine a month or so ago.

is anyone able to do this (or recommend someone who can)?????

    location is near needham market

C&G Refrigeration (01553 733171) used to do all mine in Norfolk. Not sure where they are based and what areas they cover. The guy that used to deal with me was called Simon. Top bloke, really into his rock and ice climbing.

It could well be the thermostat you need to check if the compressor is running if it's not when it should be then the thermostat needs checking at worst the compressor has failed. If it's running there should be temp difference across the pipes on compressor. Smaller pipe discharge should be hot to touch and the larger pipe suction should be cold if it's not chances are short of refrigerant or compressor not pumping.

if it needs gas then it must have a leak as its a sealed system.there is no good putting gas in until the leak is found.

just as berg say it will probably be cheaper to get another second hand one
