    25 06 load needed

    my mates just bought a new sako 25 06 with 20" barrel which is shorter than his old one..... any one got a good load using 85 grain bullets and n160 powder...?

    42gr N140 very accurate and consistant
    Fast so should work fine in a shorter barrel

    n160 powder he uses ? any recipies with that ?

    It doesn't really work like that. What might work well for me, might well be dangerous in your mates rifle!
    You need to get the start load data for the respective bullet and powder and work up from that. No 2 rifles will ever be the same.
