    anyone have the best way of cleaning cases any ideas welcome

    I tumble my cases with steel pins at the start of the re-sizing process and ultrasonic clean them at the end of the process. I'm well aware there are many ways to skin this cat.

    Nothing.... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING will clean brass, inside and out, like stainless media... have a look at the www.stainlesstumblingmedia.com website to see results... these are real world results, not media hype.. My brass comes out looking better than it did new, even the primer pockets are nice and clean.

    The Rebel 17 tumbler is far superior to the Thumlers sold by STM, you can get one from Spud on here amongst other places.. I wouldn't use anything else now.

    + 1 on what Vipa says - Stainless pin tumbling after depriming cannot be bettered - Another good supplier of the Rebel is JD Reloading - also on here.

    Does it work harden the brass and do you do it as the last part of the process after resize/trim/chamfer ?
