Thread: Sako 75 Varmint Laminted Stainless .22-250

Sako 75 Varmint Laminted Stainless .22-250

Final item left in redundancy sale

Sako 75 Varmint Laminated Stainless in .22-250 (with a fairly well measured 5/8"x18 thread - see #6 below for details)

I've never fired it, and it came from an RFD that had had it on the shelf for 5 years. The barrel is in mint condition, and the woodwork is stunning.

    What size is the thread?

Sorry, don't know. The 1/2" threaded mod for my other 75 won't fit as that's for a sporter profile barrel and won't get down far enough to engage the thread, but the thread on the .22-250 looks slightly wider spaced... Doubt that helps much though, apologies

Yep no help at all, but it still doesn't stop me wanting it. Beautiful rifle, won't stay long on here I'm sure.

    As you were...

Using the power of t'interweb, I've used the Alan Rhone method of "WTF is the thread size" (http://www.alanrhone.com/products-aimsport-threads.html) and am comfortable with 5/8"x18

Reason why i asked was i have a 75 sako in 22-250 and it has a 9/16x24 thread which is uncommon. My thinking was if yours for some reason had the same I may save a penny on a new mod! Thanks for having a look for me though cheers.
