    Barnes X neck tension

I have been trying some .243W homeloads with Barnes X tsx 85gn with Remington brass. The neck tension is minimal and the bullets can be turned by hand. What do you think is the cause bullets or brass?
    Thanks.

Sounds a bit strange as most reloading dies tend to create too much neck tension in my experience. What dies are you using, have the cases been fired already and have you neck turned or inside reamed your cases?

The one and only time I've bought new Remington brass, I found it to be really soft, but that was a long time ago, so probably not enough to say that it's definitely the brass...

Is it new brass and have you resized it? If you need more tension, I'd recommend a Lee Factory crimp... I also find a bit of powder residue increases neck tension
