What is the age of these as the model changes with the year?

ring leica with that code in Pic one and they will tell you exactly

I have the exact same model in 8x40 and if I could find a 10x40 I would get those too!!

very light and slim, stunning glass and rare to be seen in such mint condition

(and FYI, if you buy them Leice will send you out the matching rainguard for free!)

These binoculars were made between 1981 and 1990 before Leitz turned into Leica

I guess in theory that means that if they're the back end of that, they may still be in guarantee

    Someone buy these...please.

What a cracking pair of binos. I have a couple of pairs of Leica's and they make some beautiful glass.

    £375 is an absolute steal.

+1. I can never understand why people will spend £250-£400 on new 'also ran' brands of optics when a bit of patience would yield bargains like this.
