    Tikka barrels

Is there a difference in barrel profile between a Tikka T3 hunter and a T3 lite? Or is the weight saving done purely by using a synthetic stock.

Not according to the Tikka site, both are described as,

Light hunting contour barrel (cold hammer forged)
    Optional muzzle thread (Cal, 338 Fed, 8x57IS, 9.3x66 M15x1 others M14x1)

The Varmint and Super Varmint are described as,

Varmint heavy contour barrel (cold hammer forged) Optional muzzle thread
There's room for all Gods creatures ........... right next to the mash and gravy

There the same. The wood stock on the hunter is a little heavier then the synthetic stocks they put on the lite.
barrels are the same. with m14x1 thread.

Thanks. Tikka and Sako are almost not used here. Probably hard to believe. Never seen one in the field and never in a shop. So hard to compare if you don't see them in the flesh.
