Generally speaking I reload, but I had cause to buy a couple of boxes of Sako 123 grain soft points recently.
I was highly impressed with their accuracy and their performance on roe.

I usually reload Nosler 150 grain BT (hunting)
Suppose 150 grain is a kind of middle of the road weight in the 308 cartridge.

Depends what you're shooting at, for large game 150s are popular, for paper punching 168g up to 5/600yds and 155g for further out.
There's room for all Gods creatures ........... right next to the mash and gravy
