    Image number three works for me, focus looks spot on well done. Number two with the antlers in profile, impressive head.

    Yes, he's a nice looking beast.

    The third photo was the first one I took, but he'd spotted the dogs moving already so sadly didn't come any closer. The labs will happily sit there and stay still, but that's something that's not in a cocker's nature

    I do wonder how much, if at all, deer come to recognise things - whether people, dogs, farm machinery, etc. I am convinced deer get acclimatised to walkers, as in some of the woods we stalk the deer are pretty nonchalant about people in general.
