    Feeder for muntjac

I have no experience with using feeders for deer but I have a specific task to complete where a feeder might be the best way to proceed.

without going into the background of why I may need to use nod for this particular site.....

what at would the best type be to use? I can't justify the cost of an electric timed feeder and loose feed (apples, carrots etc) aren't an option, so I'm guessing a pheasant feeder type is the way to go?

is the normal spring feeder suitable for Munties as it is, or are they better if adapted in some way?

They seem to manage our pheasant feeders admirably.

Normal pheasant feeder should do the trick.

I've been sat up a high seat and heard the sound of spring being flung back and forth. When there was enough visible light it turned out to be a Muntjac flinging it with his antlers and then eating the grain which fell out.

A normal pheasant style spring feeder will work fine, but not at this time of year. There is too much natural food about. Come the winter it will work well though.

What are you putting in the feeder ? I have some ground where the owner has seen muntjac . So far I've only shot fallow. Might give this a go .
