I'm using 52 gr of N140 with standard large rifle primers ( started at 48.5 gr ) with 150 gr Nosler bt's and 150gr Sierra game kings .
This load has shot very good groups in all three 30-06 rifles I've owned, Blaser, Sauer and remmy

    Shouldn't that be 42gr NOT 52gr 140

I also switched to N140 for both when supplies of varget dried up, dropped a little velocity but accuracy was still there with 150 grain bullets.

    Hi Reggiegun,
I have used Viht 140 in a 30-06 with a 150gr interlock head, the charge that I used was 49gr, the manual that I was using at that time stated that the charge was between 48.2 and 53.2, the groups were .551,.782,and .870 at 100 yards. There was no load development done with this powder so it is quite possible that the group size could be reduced, please remember that this charge was safe in my rifle but could develop unsafe pressure in your rifle.
    all the best,
    3bl
