    150 gr sierra

    has any on got a recipe for 150gr sierra spt using h1000 in a 300 winmag.

    NO MTY but I have lots of 150 pro-hunters for sale , looks like h1000 may be for the bigger bullets?

    There's only a 4.5 (iirc) grain spread between MIN and MAX resulting in a couple of hundred fps. It's not like starting at minimum (as you should) will leave you a lot of work.~Muir

    can you tell me what the starting load is then pls i am thinking it would be about 82 gr

    Powder makers are a good source of info. Seems 80 grains is starting point.~Muir
