    Help please, Optilocks dovetail block

    Afternoon Gents,
After a little accident with my rifle, flying in the air and drop, I have broke a Optilock dovetail block, like in the photo attached, have any of you have a spare one perhaps?

    Thank you

Try Steve Jones at Trent firearms - he has a rather useful box of "bits" and he should not be too far from you.

I have the same problem as well, never found one ended up buying a s/h set of bases, you need to make sure weather the replacement part is cut for tapered or straight cut bases as well

    Hi jb7x57,
You don't have the spare base that you didn't use perhaps, that I could buy from you, rifle its a T3 Tikka, I think its straight, might have to check.
    Thanks

Mounts that can break like that wouldn't cut it for DG or even PG rifles. When you replace them, look at EAW's offering..not cheap, but good steel

+1 I only use EAW/Recknagel mounts on all my rifles, it looks like the optilock mounts are utter rubbish. I fell back of rock ledge (about 4ft)whilst hunting chamois and landed on top of my rifle and the scope (S&B PM2) was still on zero.
