    very new to stalking.

    Hello Everyone,

Just thought i would introduce my self,

I live in Essex and am a member of a pheasant syndicate, of which we have a rapidly expanding population of Roe

With no one taking care of this fact I have been givern full permission from land owner and syndicate to help control numbers.

I have .243 and although not qualifed to shot and deal with deer alone at the moment i am getting experience from private stalks and signing up for a DS1.

What more can I say ...... I love being out doors be it shooting stuff or mending pens or just sometimes watching wild life.

Stalking is very much like going to the night club

You can always tell an Essex Boy, just you cant tell him much...

An hour in the field is worth a week of typing trash.....

Welcome and good luck on your roe. The DSC1 is a great place to start - I would recommend British Deer Society. I would also try a find a local mentor too as no substitute for experience. Otherwise shoot plenty of rounds through your rifle in all sorts of firing positions and practice with sticks. Enjoy!
