Thread: Out with Dad and the Dog...

Out with Dad and the Dog...

With a nice breeze and a few pigeons feeding on the wheat stubble Dad and I crossed one off the agreed list for this year....
I picked up a box of lighter loads for him, as at 89 and using a light Spanish sxs I thought they would be best for his shoulder!!
Good fun for a few hours with some reflection on losing Mum, also the prospect of him becoming a great Granddad and me a Granddad!!!!

26 in total as I had marked a couple drop close to the road on the way back....

Stalking is very much like going to the night club

You can always tell an Essex Boy, just you cant tell him much...

An hour in the field is worth a week of typing trash.....

Good on ya Tim. You'll treasure these days for many a year to come. You won't realise their value till another day. I loved time spent with my Grandad and enjoy looking back on them days. Unfortunately won't get the chance to do the same with Dad as I was a mere boy when he died. Get all them things on the list done, then make a new one while there's still time. Happy hunting.

Most kind, Dad is on the sofa nodding off with the dog looking out from under it with his eyes closing!!
