    Variation in...

Finally got round to submitting a variation for a .308 and another .22LR (mainly so I can buy another and compare to what I already have, with the view of only keeping one). Any idea on Sussex waiting times?

If they refuse my request(s) do I lose my money or is it refunded?

My last turnaround from Sussex was 48 hours. I am sure they would return the cheque if refused. I dropped a .17hmr and added a .204 on my last variation and they treated it as one for one so no charge.

With an increase in the number of firearms it is fairly standard practice for a visit as per the HO Guidance.

Cool. He seemed pretty chilled on the 'phone, I'm sure if they had a problem there'd be a little more urgency

Well, it's been nearly a month and hopefully it's going to happen. He had to wait for someone I shoot with (met through here) to submit a brief resume of what shooting we'd done together and for one of my permission givers to get it in writing too but fingers crossed I'll have my FAC back sometime next week! :fc:
