thermal spotter for less than 1000?

    Hi there,

I saw one of these on my mates phone last week. Not sure how well they would do what you want it to, but i was mighty impressed.

It was smart enough to be able to follow bare foot steps on a wood floor, and has a bunch of modes to pick out warmest / coldest thing in view.

That was probably one of these:

But I don't think that it would have the range for any hunting application.

The site unfortunately just seems to be close-ups of peoples pets.

They've just started selling them on Amazon.co.uk, also distributed by Kondor in the UK.

My shooting buddy brought one back from the states, considering the price it's pretty good and certainly helps you find recently deceased rabbits at night. Not had to use it for a deer, but it would certainly work for that.

Munches through the battery though and doesn't have a huge level of detail.
