    T3 lite GRS stock

    Hi
Anyone here put a GRS stock on their T3 lite ( 308 especially). And if so any reviews, photos along with which model used.

    cheers AB

    Hi AB
Wouldn't putting a GRS stock on a lite sort of defeat the whole point of the lite? The GRS stocks are good but they are fairly heavy.
It's the calibre of the shooter that counts not the calibre of the rifle.

Yes. But I hate the standard stock. Gun is very accurate but leaves me a bit cold. Thinking of tricking it out a little, but don't want a heavy barrel

Whereabouts are you from? We are close to Kinsale and might have an alternative.

Edi I was just trying to think of your user name (ejg) because I was going to suggest having a look at one of your stocks.

I was thinking the same but I was simply thinking of in the same country. A friend of mine and fellow site member has one of your stocks on a Remington rifle and it never fails to impress me whenever I see it being used. It's also found quite a few admirers from other rifle club members who stalk.
Pity about the rifle being a Remington as a good stock like that deserves to be on a decent rifle.

I had a few remingtons and they all served me really well but out of the box a T3 is a much better rifle. Even the timney trigger on my rem can't match a t3 trigger.
There are plenty aftermarket bits for T3's available.

Hi Edi, I'm very close in Carrigaline. I'm assuming you are PSE composite stock and you were on My "to phone" list. I've been onto Dominic Byrne about a build but I'm wondering will I do the assembly work myself and get him to blueprint it. Although I know a barrel change is recommended. But my t3 is very accurate.

I put a Boyds laminate Thumbhole on my T3 lite. Not as heavy or as nice or the adjustment of the GRS but at 130 delivered it also was in the same price league as a GRS. Made me really like the rifle a lot more than when it was standard, I also fitted a different bolt handle and bolt shroud and now I'm very happy with it.
