    Might seem like a simpletons question, however, is 1/2" UNF the same as 1/2" UNF x 20?!

    Yes. 1/2"-20tpi is 1/2" UNF

    1/2-13 is UNC Unified course
    1/2-20 is UNF Unified fine
    1/2-28 is UNEF Unified extra fine
