    Single Free Standing High Seat....

I had planed to take my double free standing high seat to a small wood in North Essex, however 3 weeks of trail cam pictures has only caught one Fallow buck and a couple of does.
There are a good few in the area but only these 3 on my radar...

Not wanting to move my double seat for just the chance of one or two shots so I knocked up this single over the weekend. A coat of paint, 2 feet with spikes for the back legs to add as it would have sat wrong on the concrete while I was eye balling the design.
It will have a piece of netting for the front as I have found it does make a difference on Fallow with them being quite tall and very alert!!

Stalking is very much like going to the night club

You can always tell an Essex Boy, just you cant tell him much...

An hour in the field is worth a week of typing trash.....

Tim I'd still think about putting a wider platform step for you feet to rest on, just to make it more comfortable. Even if its some some treated pine screwed into the steel.
    cheers chuck.

I make the foot rail to suit me it is balanced with the rail and the seat so very little on your feet...

You must have raised arches lol

Thank you, It is made over spec as per my usual habits lol... the basket was quite straight forward, quite simple to get the ladder angle as I made that first and worked on a bit of advice long time ago from a local agricultural engineer...
