Bore Snake 22-250 and .270 win

If you have either give me a shout. I have a .30 cal one if you want a swap.

    Cheers

    TJ
Position and hold must be firm enough to support the firearm
The firearm must point naturally at the target without any undue physical effort
Sight alignment (aiming) must be correct
The shot must be released and followed through without disturbing the position

Bushwear had them for about 6 reduced from 15 hope this helps

Why?! Unless you really really really hate the throat on your rifles.

Sounds interesting......I've never had a problem with either the .308 or the .243 snakes, not had trouble pulling them through, I'm worried now, maby I shouldn't get them.....Just so much easier than a Bore Guide and rods......

Supposed to damage the crown if you dont pull straight thro, old 303s suffered with damage caused by the cord on their pull throe's wearing or damaging crown by being pulled across top of crown and not straight out, saw post where border barrels loves them as they give him a lot of work. I've got them for my rifles and use them sparingly and carefully and make sure I pull up wards, deerwarden

    Urban Myth Alert!!!

I have bore snakes for my .308 as well as for my 28, 16 and 12 bore shotguns. Interestingly I was told by one stallholder at the Game Fair in Blenheim a couple of years ago that Boresnakes result in throat erosion. Coincidentally, the stall holder that told me didn't stock Boresnakes. Funny that

Consider first that millions of Boresnakes have been sold worldwide and then do a Google search on Boresnake's causing throat erosion. Don't you think some causal link would have been found by now???

Boresnakes don't replace 'proper' barrel cleaning, but IMHO you have more chance of ruining your barrel by running a patch down the barrel and having the jag scraping it.
