I have a copy here and Ive read it thoroughly, Im sorry its not for sale, more so for the occasional reference than for accurate data though so dont worry, your not really missing anything.

My thoughts are you wont really miss having it, its not as useful a book as I was hoping it would be and there is better, more up to date and more accurate information out there on the web. Todd really hypes up the 20's to an unrealistic level that they dont really achieve in my honest opinion, and thats coming from an owner of a 20Tac and a 20BR, it suits him though as he was championing their performance over the .22 cals.

For example, he constantly quotes the 40gr vmax in most of his comparative ballistic calculations as having a BC of 0.275 and he also quotes that he gets velocities that nobody else seems to be able to achieve, all of this goes to strengthen his case for the .20's out shooting the bigger .22 cals which is in fact not correct if you choose the right twist rate to fire the heavy .22 bullets.

Another thing I notice is that there are so many .20 cal derivatives, it seemed to me he was making everything he could into a .20cal just for the sake of it. In truth a 20 Practical can do anything that the 20Tac, 20Vartarg and all the other smaller 20 cals can do, you just need to load it appropriately. Then from there upwards there is realistically only one other cartridge and thats the 20BR, this is the only one which will propel 40gr bullets at 4000fps with any regularity and without risk of overpressure and it comes into its own with the 55gr bullets.

I would say without any doubt you will get far more up to date and accurate information asking on a forum such as this, UKV or Saubier and save yourself the money and reading time.

Got to agree with most of EF's comments,

I have to I am a avid user of the 20 tactical, and can not fault it, I just wish I had one before spending money on 223/222 rifles

Thanks for the input gents but still looking for a copy of this for some light reading over the festive season!

I have a copy and 'light' reading is exactly what it is. Nothing new in it and certainly for a cheapo ring bound booklet it ain't worth the cover price.

I have summat for sale; here's the M̶i̶d̶w̶a̶y̶ Brownells UK price... effin jokers.

That's exactly why I wanted a s/h copy rather than paying the extortionate new price!

You can have mine if I can find it. I'll have a look for it at the weekend...
