    Alan Yentob resigns from BBC...

..and the BBC saves 183,000 a year (plus more for other stuff).

Alan Yentob steps down as BBC creative director - BBC News

A few more need to go IMHO.

I didn't know he was a member. He never spoke much about it.

Sorry but he is not going!
It says in the body of the report
"He will continue to make and present programmes including arts show Imagine."

Will this be the real Yentob? He is well known for getting someone to ask the questions in interviews in his Imagine series, then filming his nods and winks later to give the impression he was present throughout.

Maybe a stand in has resigned for him, and he will leave later?

ALL BBC News (& others) interviews are done like this (otherwise they need two cameras?).

    Drives me bloody mad!
