They do - there's one that drops into the action.

So you can't remove them when the bolt is in place but you can when the bolt is out. They are made so that you can use the same action for various calibers. Basically the bolt, barrel and magazine are caliber (or more accurately group of caliber) specific.

Claret_Dabbler - I don't know off the top of my head which (if any) other calibers are shared with the .222 magazine. Do you know?

Edit: Sorry, just seen .222 forms part of "Caliber group Mini" along with .223 (http://www.blaser.de/uploads/media/B...12-2_EN_01.pdf).

As WG says, it's a little drop in insert into the magazine well, bolt rails keep it in place. It also controls the bolt travel so you only need to move the bolt far enough to eject the small case, rather than pull it back enough to eject a belted magnum.

    Maybe give Mulliners a call?

Blaser R93 magazines | Mulliner Guns

Though Frankonia looks to have them on sale!

    Blaser Ersatzmagazin (Kaliber .30-06 Spr.) - Magazine - Waffenzubehör - Waffen - Jagd Online Shop - Frankonia.de

It says .222 are "ausverkauft" which I think is out of stock (?) but they have .223, which should be the same magazine.
