Enough for a Muntjac - triple 700 nitro express

But regulating and zeroing could be painful.

Its shooting a 1000 gn bullet at 2000 fps. Not deer legal though as it lacks velocity.

Sounds like a perfect all round gun pop on night vision for foxing you'd certainly be able to see the where the shot went if you missed

Surely this shows just how stupid the regulations are that a 700 Nitro Express is sen as not able to cleanly kill a deer.

Could only be more up my street if it was a bore rifle!

What a cracking bit of kit. If I did a Nitro Express it'd be a 600. Nearly as heavy jacketed bullets but brass is only about 8 each as opposed to 25!
Plus .620 barrels are readily, and cheaply, available from Lothar Walter.

700 ne won't be for the faint hearted. The hambrusch website is listing a pack of 5 cartridges at €137.50. Enough to make you cough and splutter!

For the hand loaders, a quick break down:
    1x Bertram case 26.67
    1x Woodleigh 1000gr bullet ~3.70 (plus p&p from Sweden)
    200gr powder (traditional load) ~1.14

So that's 31.51 per bang. Let's just hope you get lots of loadings out of the brass!
Thats 157.55 per 5 so the Hambrusch price ain't bad!

I must admit to really liking what Peter Hambrusch is doing down there in Ferlach. I am very fortunate in having a combination gun built by him and his father in the 1970's. and when it from auction he was a real pleasure to talk with - and sent across to me lots of info on when it was built, reloading data for the 7x65R and he found a set of 7x65R dies on his shelf that he let me have for a very reasonable price (about 50% of what I had been quoted over here). His website is at Hambrusch Hunting Weapons - Jagdwaffen Ferlach - Used Guns - Barrels - Gebrauchtwaffen and well worth a look.
