Bisley closed for shooting Friday and Saturday

FYI, received this email earlier today:

At the moment there is a major fire in the Bisley and Pirbright danger area which is affecting shooting at Bisley.

Currently all shooting is cancelled for Friday 21 May and Saturday 22 May.

Clay shooting may be unaffected - please contact the relevant organisation to check.

A decision on Sundays shooting will be made Saturday lunchtime.

The NRA website will be updated regularly as we get information from the Fire Brigade so please keep an eye on the website for further information

I would be bothered about them , if they were bothered about "US"

I'm bothered about the cattle and Red deer living on Pirbright in a fenced enclosure.

finnbear, that is beneath you . Next weekend is the Pheonix meeting with people from all over even the continent attending
. Regardless of our thoughts about the NRA and those that run it some of these people who attend the Pheonix plan for it all year.

Not ony that this means it will be effecting Ash and Henley Park and the Military need them in use right now I wonder if it might have a tracer round that set it off or was tit the usual toerags setting fire to it? .

Hopefully my ticket will be back varied by then and I can make it down to collect the BSA Majestic and have a wander round the show. Might even have a few bits and bobs to sell. It all depends on the licensing department and how quickly they get their fingers out got three one for ones plus swop some round on the to shoot list I will phone on Tuesday and see how it's going. I know they have it as I delivered it by hand .
