Hi I'm Benjamin from Carmarthenshire I currently go out hunting on around 200 acres for rabbits with a .22 air rifle but the rabbits are getting more wiser so need to take longer distance shots and the farmer and a few other farmers have requested that I should apply for a rimfire to sort out some of their fox problems ive been shooting with air rifles for around 4-5 years now but want to get in to rimfires
 
Welcome, plenty of good information on here for you. Regarding calibres for fox the 22wmr is probably the smallest that is humane but you might be better considering a small centrefire like a 17 or 22 hornet, 222 Rem or 223. Have a good look around as there is lots of discussion on points like this
 
Hello and welcomeI use a browning A bolt in 223 synthetic stock super rifle for fox shooting have shot them at 200 MTS no problem
