Just got back, it was bigger than previous years. It got very busy around lunchtime, but then seemed to thin quite considerably. Good job too.
Three of us all really enjoyed it, met a few friends whilst doing the rounds too.
    Worth a look.

Hi Steve, Just got back. Is it worth the 20 to get in? Onoy if you see something that you want and buy it! Certainly it's all shooting, no jacuzzis, solar panels, stairlifts, and etc., etc..

I saw and bought a used Swarovski 6x42 for 395 but that was the ONLY quality used 'scope in that sort of size that was there. Lots of used guns, Cheshire Gun Room, Ladds, York Guns, and many others. But i wasn't looking for a used gun so didn't pay them any heed.

Three outlets for powders and primers including Norman Clarke of Rugby so if you wanted powders it was a good venue to visit. Airguns? Loads, almost a whole hall of the things but, from what i saw mostly new.

Was it worth the 20? Yes, but then look at my "moniker" I'm in Leicester M1/69 so it's thirty minutes drive. Would I have been happy if I had had to travel three or four hours? Yes in that I got a 'scope I needed. And it was a morning out.

It was something to do but I'm neutral about if it was something that I'd want to repeat but only because I wasn't in the market for a gun. If I had been in the market for a gun then yes, it was most definitely worth it....there must have been many hundreds to see.

First indoor I've ever been to.

    Very easy in and out.

spent far too much including nice new Prohunter to keep the rain off.

at least 3 sellers selling heads and reloading gear including NC as mentioned.

plus more selling cheap military ammo and power, had 3.5kg N140 off one guy.

show seemed busy and retailers looked like they were doing business which is good for all.

there re was a second hand Swaro z6 5-30 which I was tempted by, that and a 12 foot punt gun!

all the scope/night viz and thermal boys are there.

definately recommend it, great day out.
