twist rate will be down to what weight bullets you want to stabilise, barrel length and profile down to how much weight you want to carry

Does the pitting effect the way it shoots? or is it just offensive to you knowing it is there?

Have you priced up the rebarrel job? You might be shocked to find out the costs! There was a thread on this only a little time ago on these very forums.

I see your concern but if she shoots there is no reason to rebarrel UNLESS there is other reasons such as length and weight.
You're best calling riflesmiths (several) and get some prices as there is many variables. James at JagerSA (on here) is very good but it's a small company and he's very busy so turn around isn't fast, he is however very good, maybe the best, value.
Anywhere between 400 and 800 is possible depending on the aforementioned variables.

If it shoots as well as stated keep shooting it or spend 400-800 for it to shoot the same

If it aint broke, don't fix it!!! If it is still good at the business end of the barrel it should be fine.
