222 lovers do not look at the latest Holts Auction Catalogue

Especially not in the Double Gun Section - this also includes single shots, falling blocks etc.

There is some really nice falling blocks and doubles in there. Some of the falling blocks are estimated for less than a new Blaser R8.

Much prettier way to spend the money

The Hi-wall in .225 is very nice, i think the estimate is way to low

Estimates are always quoted too low, it garners more interest (hopefully) usually does.

I put 3 lots in the last auction if I had know what they would fetch after Holts had taken their cut I would not have bothered.

I did a deal beforehand on the items in the last auction - not too bad

They are quite high. I use their 'how much do I feel like paying' facility on the lot page which calculates how much to bid then adds commission VAT etc to achieve your chosen amount. I have been to the auction and many guns failed to meet their reserve and didn't sell on the day I was there.
