Thread: A reasonable roe head.

    A reasonable roe head.

I don't as a rule collect heads, just one or two representatives of each species.

This one has been hanging on wall in the cellar for a number of years and I've just thought about getting it measured - what do you think?

Weight is 490gr (very dry!) and beams of 29.5cm length. As you can see it's very symetrical with well developed tines - that's why I've hung on to it.

With luck possibly even a Silver.

As it is a short nose cut this should easily make a silver medal, top end.

Let us know how you get on.
