    .223 Barnes load

    Hi Guys,
Got some 55gr Barnes TTSX to try in my .223. Any advice on powder and load please.
    Cheers Steve.

I haven't used TTSX but for most 55gn bullets I use Vhit n135 24-5gns to about 26gns You could start 10x at 24gn and go up and check groupings etc , good luck

I would urge caution and stick with recognized load data from Barnes or the powder manufacturers.
It's the calibre of the shooter that counts not the calibre of the rifle.

Would be very interested to hear how you get on with them...
So much to learn and so little time left
