    Titanium mouth re-sizer ball

Wondering if any of you guys use the titanium replacement mouth re-sizer inserts on your re-sizing dies. Are they worth the extra money?

    Use tungsten carbide ones myself...

I have summat for sale; here's the M̶i̶d̶w̶a̶y̶ Brownells UK price... effin jokers.

That's what I meant to say, carbide. So it sounds like it's worth it?

Yes. I tried the Redding one, carbide, in .270, as you buy it, the carbide ball and end "cap", and then just swap it for the steel ball and original end cap.

I found it so easy to use that I am now replacing my stadard RCBS die sets with Redding die sets.

But I shall keep my RCBS "small base" sizer dies. I just wish there was a simple RCBS "fix" to replace the RCBS steel expander ball with a carbide ball.

Or just use ample inside neck dry graphite lube if using a steel expander ball. That mostly stops the case squealing. Graphite first and every alternate case.

yup, worthwhile upgrade - no neck lube!

Thanks guys, I'll do it. Wish they were a little cheaper though.

Me too! Even less cheap here in UK.

I think at one time you could "convert" older RCBS dies as the hole at the top was certainly a different width to that nowadays. I'd try a post on the reloading section of Accurate Reloading Forums.

Or post where Southern or Muir might see your question?
