    Now there are nine.....

I was out this morning with my old Micro Four Thirds camera (the Nikon is ill) and grabbed this photo at first light:

Another doe then came out but stopped. The doe looked back at the wood and then a six point buck came out that might be the one I've photo'd in velvet before. They made their way up the hill away from me, where I spied two more roe (both does).

Then on the right hand side of the field the two does I normally see appeared (there are photos elsewhere from earlier this week of these two does with "birthmarks") together with a small buck. So now I had nine roe in the one field:

You can't see the two over to the left hand side in this photo.

I also had the chance to capture some videos (the whining is my young cocker watching all those pheasants in the first video!) including some of the two bucks fighting:

Hopefully will be back up to speed with the Nikon by the weekend.

Nicely done Dom, those pheasants were all over the place no wonder the cocker was getting wound up.

Nice Dom looks like your deer are well advanced with coat change compared to ours across the wall.

How you bent the pins? Easy fix with but be careful not to break them as its a full pin set replacement if you do (or youre very very good with a soldering iron!)

I had the card turned through 90 degrees, didn't notice, and pushed it into the slot. By the time I'd noticed the damage had been done .

It will need sending off for repair, so I've had some quotes and will sort it out after Easter.

In the meantime I've ordered the camera I've been promising myself for the last year, so the D300 will become my backup. Hopefully I'll get a chance to try things out over the coming weekend.
