    The pygmy and the elephant

A fearless African hunter is creeping through thick undergrowth, on the trail of a big bull elephant he's been after for the last 6 years. Huge thing it is. And a smart old bull too.

All of a sudden he breaks into a clearing and as his eyes adjust to the brighter light he sees the bull elephant in the center of the clearing, dead as a doornail, with a wee pigmy on top of him starting work on the carcass.

He can't quite understand what he's seeing, so he goes up to the pigmy and asks him incredulously "did you kill this big old bull elephant?"

    "Yes" says the pigmy.

Hunter - "What did you kill it with?"

    Pigmy - "With my club"

The hunter can't quite believe his ears. All he can think of to ask is "So, how big is your club?"

Pigmy - "Oh, there must be about 250 of us......"

I never make the same mistake twice.

I make it five or six times.

    Just to be sure.
