    The Muntjac Buck

Despite getting back from Heathrow late last night I managed to drag myself out of bed this morning and head down the track.

As soon as I got to the cover crop field I could see a muntjac buck approaching through the adjacent hay meadow field. I tucked myself in beside a tree and waited as he approached. Eventually the sound of the shutter spooked him, but not before I'd managed to capture a couple of good shots of him. He's a fine looking buck and if he lasts another year or two he should get up to medal standard.

Cracking pics Dom! I'm not sure about Nikon, but with Canon the shutter sound can be turned off.

The D750 has both a Q/Quiet and a Qc/Quiet Continuous mode, but I can't say they sound much quieter to my old ears than the regular modes!
